Youth Development
Youth development strategies can be important pieces of an intergenerational plan to increase racial equity on many indicators of well-being (health, education, community development, economic development). High quality practices include having youth design and lead activities, as well as capacity building work to help systems, groups and organizations adopt practices that encourage youth and make room for youth leadership (e.g. use of technology for communication and strategy implementation). These topics are covered in the content in this section, along with information about how to view youth development through a structural racism lens.
